AH1N1 Virus Infection Detected In W Romania
A 39-year-old woman in Arad, western Romania, who has recently returned from Italy, has been diagnosed with the AH1N1 flu virus, local health department representatives said Wednesday.

Epidemiologist Dana Neagu said the Cantacuzino Institute in Bucharest has confirmed the diagnosis. She said the patient has been admitted to the emergency hospital in Arad, and added the woman is in good condition.
According to the source, the patient's family members do not have AH1N1 flu symptoms.
Three people infected with the AH1N1 virus have died this year in Romania.
