Alexandru Mitrache Promoted Head of Transactions – Land & Investment at C&W Echinox

Mitrache has been the Head of Land Development department within the company for the past three years, offering consultancy for the development and disposal of commercial land. He holds an MBA at the University of Sheffield and is also being a graduate of the Romanian-American University in Bucharest.

“I am glad that I will have the opportunity to be involved in investment transactions, which represents a later stage of the capitalization of land plots. In this new position, I will have a broader view of the life cycle of real estate assets and I will be able to bring added value to our clients,” said Mitrache.

At Cushman & Wakefield Echinox, Mitrache was involved in a series of transactions of land plots suitable for mixed developments with an important real estate investment component.

“The real estate investment market is very dynamic at present, with positive prospects for the next period as well. There are a number of representative assets that are set to be transacted, suitable for a wide range of investors: both for large groups that can enter the Romanian market and also for existing investors that are aiming to consolidate their positions. Subject to a relatively stable macroeconomic and political climate, we expect this year to bring a record volume of transactions,” Mitrache added.
