Bucharest annual industrial space rents were flat on the year at EUR48 per sqm in 2010, while the overall cost to occupy one square meter of industrial space reached EUR57, including expenditure and various services.
The total cost stood at EUR60 in 2008.
According to the survey, Bucharest industrial rents are seen flat also in 2011, since demand should be low in a still recovering economy.
On a global level, the recession continued to impact the industrial rental market, bringing rents down by more than 1%.
In Central and Eastern Europe, the rent dropped by an average 5.5% on the year in 2010, as demand stayed low.
