Drought Might Affect Romania’s 2012 Wheat Production – Minister

This year’s drought might affect Romania’s 2012 wheat production, Agriculture Minister Valeriu Tabara said Friday, adding that the country has enough wheat reserves to cover local consumption for three years.

The minister said the rape crop has been significantly damaged.

He added the ministry will collect data on the damages caused by drought and will monitor crops.
