EC To Push For Final Decision On Romania's Schengen Accession To Be Taken By September

The European Commission will reject any attempt to link Romania's accession to the Schengen Area to the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism (CVM) and will push for a final decision in September at the latest, EC president Jose Manuel Barroso said Thursday.
