Erste To Buy 24% In Romanian BCR From 4 SIFs For About EUR435M

Austrian lender Erste Group Bank (EBS.RO) Wednesday said it will acquire 24.12% of its Romanian unit BCR for about EUR435 million in cash and stock, after reaching an agreement with four of the five regional investment funds (SIFs).
