False Bomb Threat At City Hall, County Council In C Romania

The bomb threat targeting the headquarters of the city hall and county council in Sibiu, central Romania, on Monday turned out to be false.

Bomb squads checked the area and found no explosive device. The employees of the two institutions were not evacuated during checkups.

Authorities started investigations to identify the person who alerted the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) in Sibiu.

Earlier Monday, the SRI was informed that bombs have been placed at the headquarters of the two institutions.
