Genetically Modified Plants Are No Risk To Human Health – Romanian Expert
Genetically modified products do not present risks for human health, Gheorghe Sin, president of the Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences in Bucharest, said Thursday at a conference on GMOs.

"There are no data confirming that genetically modified plants have negative effects," Sin said at the Mediafax Talks about GMOs conference.
He added that two thirds of foods on the American market contain ingredients made from genetically engineered plants.
According to Sin, over 150 million hectares of farmland worldwide are used to grow plants that were genetically modified.
