Ludovic Orban will be isolated at home after contacts with Chiţac: I will isolate myself at Vila Lac

Acting prime minister Ludovic Orban announced on Friday that he had had contacts with senator Virgil Chiţac, who was confirmed with coronavirus.

In this context, Orban has announced that the National Political Board members will be isolated.

"All members of National Liberal Party's National Permanent Board will be isolated at home. All PNL senators have the obligation to self-isolate. I asked the Ministry of Health for a rapid epidemiological investigation mechanism in the PNL", Ludovic Orban has said.

The interim prime minister also said that the ministers and members of the PNL's Executive Board will be taken samples to be diagnosed.

"I will isolate myself at Vila Lac 1 where we will have all the duties exercised. We are about to make a decision to see where the ministers are isolated. (...) Ministers should go to their offices, not have contact with employees, avoid spreading. They will exercise their powers. I urge the entire coronavirus control system to not cease the procedures, in order to not affect the Government's ability to fight coronavirus", Orban added.
