Minister: Romania Must Increase Grain Storage Capacity To Some 25M Tons
Romania needs to increase its grain storage capacity by up to 55% to 22-25 million tons, Agriculture Minister Valeriu Tabara said Friday at the conference MEDIAFAX Talks about Agriculture.

According to Tabara, the country's cereal storage capacity currently stands at 16 million tons and needs to be increased by 40% to 55%.
Romania is now constructing silos with a capacity of 2.7 million tons of grain through the National Rural Development Program (PNDR), said the minister.
He added that most of these silos are located in Danube ports.
