Parliament Committee OKs Draft 2012 Budget Of Romanian Intelligence Service

A Romanian Parliament special committee on Monday unanimously approved the draft 2012 budget of the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI), of 989 million lei (about EUR227 million).

Committee president Cezar Preda said the SRI had asked for RON1.04 billion.

According to Preda, the expenses budget of the Romanian Intelligence Service is lower than that in 2011.
