Romania: 15.778 cases of COVID-19, of which 190 registered in the last 24 hours

In Romania there have been until Tuesday 15.778 cases of COVID-19, 190 more than the last report. 991 Romanians died and 7.685 were cured, announces the Strategic Communication Group (GCS).

Until Tuesday, on the Romanian territory, 15.778 cases of people infected with the COVID virus-19 (coronavirus) were confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 7.685 were declared cured and discharged.

GCS announces that so far, 991 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection, hospitalized in Dolj, Bucharest, Iaşi, Suceava, Arad, Bacău, Timiş, Cluj, Neamţ, Hunedoara, Constanţa, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Ialomiţa, Bistriţa -Năsăud, Covasna, Dâmboviţa, Vrancea, Galaţi, Caraş-Severin, Mureş, Giurgiu, Bihor, Argeş, Vaslui, Botoşani, Alba, Sălaj, Braşov, Mehedinţi, Teleorman, Gorj, Prahova, Vâlcea, Călăraşi and Maram, died.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 190 new cases of illness have been registered.

At the moment, 238 patients are hospitalized at ATI.

On the Romanian territory, there are 14.923 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 19.007 people are in solitary confinement at home and are under medical supervision.

To date, 269.183 tests have been processed at national level.
