Speaking at a banking meeting, Isarescu said the size of the new loan agreement is less important than the continuity of the reform process, participants to the meeting told MEDIAFAX.
They said the central bank favors a two-year deal with the IMF and the European Commission, similar to the EUR20 billion loan agreement signed back in 2009.
Joint teams from the IMF and the European Commission arrived in Bucharest Tuesday for the seventh and final review of the two-year agreement and for talks on a new deal.
