Romania Fin Ministry Proposes New Budget Revision In Oct

Romania's Finance Ministry will recommend the government make a second budget revision for 2010 at the end of October, aimed mainly at resetting expenditure budgets at ministries, state secretary Gheorghe Gherghina said Tuesday.

Ghergina said Romania is likely to achieve its budget revenue target in 2010.

The government made its first budget revision for 2010 in mid-August.

Romania aims to reduce its budget deficit to 6.8% of the gross domestic product this year, from 7.2% of GDP in 2009.
