Romania Forex Reserves Rise To EUR32.7B In January
Romanian foreign exchange reserves rose to EUR32.69 billion in January, after the International Monetary Fund released a seventh installment of a EUR13 billion stand-by loan, central bank data showed Tuesday.

At the end of December 2010, the reserves were at EUR32.43 billion.
Foreign exchange inflows were at EUR1.77 billion in January, fueled by some EUR900 million in IMF money, while total outflows reached EUR1.51 billion.
The central bank's gold holdings were steady at 103.7 metric tons, and their value adjusted for international gold price stood at EUR3.26 billion.
Thus, Romania's overall international reserves were at EUR35.95 billion in January, almost unchanged from December.
The payments due on public and publicly guaranteed external debt in February amount to EUR163.1 million, the central bank data showed.
