Romania Maintains Precautionary Terror Alert Following Bin Laden’s Death - President

According to the head of state, Romania will maintain a precautionary terror alert level.

Interior Minister Traian Igas said Monday authorities must be prepared to counter possible terrorist attacks and added Romania will not raise the terror-threat level.

Bin Laden was shot in the head in a U.S. raid on a compound near Pakistan's capital on Sunday.

A U.S. Department for Homeland Security official said Monday, cited by CNN, the department did not raise the national terror-threat level following bin Laden's death.
