Romania’s 2011 Grain Output Up 24.3% On Year, To 20.78 Million Tons

Romania’s cereal output rose 24.3% in 2011, to 20.78 million tons, compared to 16.71 million tons in 2010, placing the country fifth in the European Union by wheat output and second, after France, by corn output, the statistics institute INS said Friday.
