Romania Will Have National Incident Reporting System Starting March 2012 – Police Chief
The Romanian Police is working on a National Incident Reporting System, which will be implemented in March next year, Police Chief Liviu Popa told a news conference Saturday.

The system will collect and report data on all types of offences committed countrywide. The database will be updated daily, as police officers will have to report their activity over the past 24 hours.
The system will help the Police allot resources more efficiently, Popa said, adding that its implementation will cost EUR2.5 million.
The project is financed with non-reimbursable European funds.
