Romanian Constitutional Court Asks Govt To Send Voter Lists By August 21

Romania's Constitutional Court has asked the Government to send by August 21 the permanent voter lists as of July 10.

The voter list will be used to rule on the outcome of a referendum to impeach President Traian Basescu, which required a turnout of more than 50%.

The Court originally gave the Government until August 31 to send this list, but moved the deadline back after accepting a request from Basescu.
