Romanian County Of Brasov Sees Over 80 Measles Cases In The Past Two Weeks

According to the county’s Public Health Direction, most cases come from within the Roma community, which resides in disadvantaged areas of the county.

Claudia Bularca, spokesperson at the Brasov Public Health Direction, said that the number of cases has been dropping since the epidemic's boom, in June.

Bularca added that the institution will establish vaccination centers in the disadvataged areas together with Pro Europa Association, which deals with the protection of Roma ethnics’ rights.
