Romanian Deputies Raise Minimum Age For Possession Of Lethal Weapons To 25

Romania's Chamber of Deputies has adopted a bill raising the minimum age requirement for possession of lethal weapons to 25, from the current 18.

The bill was adopted with 206 votes for, four votes against and four abstentions.

It also says owners of lethal weapons must pass a regular psychological examination, held every year for people aged 25-70, and every six months for people older than 70.

The bill was previously rejected by the Senate, but the Chamber of Deputies is the deciding house.
