Romanian Govt Decree Helping Young Entrepreneurs To Be Adopted After Public Debate

The Government said last week it plans to draft an emergency decree whereby young entrepreneurs could benefit from state guarantees, through the guarantee fund for SMEs, if they have at least two employees and reinvest their profit.

Ruling Democratic Liberal Party vice-president Gheorghe Flutur said Monday that the budget for start-ups is "limited" and added a few hundred firms could benefit from state financing this year and a few thousand next year.

State financing granted to young entrepreneurs will be capped at EUR10,000.
