Family doctor representatives told Health Minister Attila Cseke that starting Tuesday patients will be able to obtain discounted medicine and specialist appointments.
Family doctor representatives said Thursday physicians decided to submit the documents required to sign the new public healthcare contract, to show they are willing to end the conflict with health insurance houses. They also said doctors will not sign the frame-contract until they reach an agreement with health insurance houses, and reiterated that starting June 14 patients will pay for medical examinations.
As family doctors refused to sign the public healthcare contract on June 1 due to disagreements with the National Health Insurance House, patients have been unable to obtain discounted medicine and specialist appointments.
