Romanian Leu Hits Fresh Record Lows Vs Euro, US Dollar

Romania’s leu edged higher against the euro by midday Monday, with dealers suspecting covert interventions from the central bank, but the exchange rate continued to weaken and fell to a new historic low of 4.5571 units, from 4.5495 units in the previous session.
