Romanian Leu’s Exch Rate Weakens Slightly To 4.1865 Vs Euro
Romania’s leu traded in ranges against the euro in mid session Tuesday and the central bank’s reference weakened slightly to 4.1865 units, from 4.1843 units a day earlier.

Against the US dollar, the leu's indicative lost 0.8% to 3.0183 units, after having gained over 2% to a 12-month high in the previous session.
The leu opened slightly lower on the day at 4.186/4.188 per euro, amid a negative sentiment in the region as the crisis in Japan worsens.
At around GMT1100, the leu traded at 4.1855/4.187 to the euro.
Elsewhere in the region, the Polish zloty was down 0.77% versus the euro, while Hungary's forint was losing around 0.6%.
On the money market Tuesday, overnight rates fell to 3.8%-4.3% a year, from 3.9%-4.4% a year the day before.
