Romanian Main Ruling Party Wants To Merge Constitutional Revision Referendum With Local Elections

Boc asked the opposition parties, which have been boycotting the legislature's activity for the past few months, to return to Parliament for the Constitution's revision, as it requires the votes of two thirds of MPs.
The Constitution would be revised to implement the results of the 2009 referendum, namely switching to a single-chamber legislature of 300 seats, Boc added.
