Earlier Monday, lawmakers started debates on the no-confidence motion over the wage law for 2011, submitted in parliament by opposition liberals and social democrats last week, after Prime Minister Emil Boc sought a confidence vote to pass the bill into legislation.
Ruling party lawmakers attend debates in parliament but said they will abstain from voting.
The number of opposition lawmakers is below that needed for the no-confidence motion to be adopted, namely 236.
