Romanian Parliament Committees Reject Integrity Agency’s Draft 2012 Budget

The Romanian Parliament’s committees for legal matters on Monday rejected the draft 2012 budget of the National Integrity Agency (ANI).

Democrat liberal deputy Daniel Buda said the draft budget has been rejected with a majority of the votes.

The agency's proposed budget for next year amounts to 20.6 million lei (EUR4.73 million) and is significantly higher than the one proposed in 2011, of RON13.7 million.
