Boc said he has already discussed this matter with the ministers of Finance, Labor and Economy.
Fifteen people laid off in October from the National Coal Company (CNH) went on a hunger strike Wednesday evening, demanding the second tranche of their severance pay.
CNH general manager Constantin Jujan said the severance pay (in three stages - October, November and December) should have been disbursed from the subsidy for mines to be closed by 2018. However, this subsidy has not been allotted by the Government yet, so CNH is unable to observe the protocol with its former employees.
