Romanian President Traian Basescu met Tuesday with U.S. President Barack Obama in the White House, according to sources in the official delegation.

Some of the journalists accompanying Basescu were denied access into the White House.

Earlier in the day, Basescu met with Vice-president Joe Biden. The two discussed topics of bilateral interest, including the missile defense shield.
