Romanian President: Moldova Won't Be Buffer State Between NATO And Russia

Romanian President Traian Basescu said Thursday that Moldova is unlikely to turn into a buffer-state between NATO and Russia, on account of Romania hosting elements of the missile defense system, but it can become a "EU border state," like Romania.
