Romanian Prosecutor's Office clarifies false claims, stating that Prosecutor General Augustin Lazar is unaware of the meeting of the inquiry commission that investigates the 2009 presidential elections, due to take place at the Ministry of Justice headquarters.

Members of the inquiry commission on the 2009 presidential elections announced on Monday that they will meet this week with the minister of Justice and Romania’s Prosecutor General.

Nevertheless, the Prosecutor's Office wrote a clarifying statement on Facebook that said although Lazar is unaware of such a meeting, he is open to as much dialogue as his position allows.
