The bill got six votes against and two abstentions from committee member.
The Government approved late January a decree that changes the way pensions of former military personnel are calculated. Under the decree, military pensions are calculated based on the gross average salary instead of individual income and extends the recalculation deadline until the end of 2011.
The decree was brought about by a final ruling of the Supreme Court that suspended the application of the initial pension recalculation law fro military pensions.
