Romanian Senate Rejects Bill Allowing Govt To Issue Ordinances During Break

The bill allowed the Government to issue ordinances in the fields of public finance, economy, transports, communication, education, agriculture and healthcare, during the July-August 2011 parliamentary break.

The bill received 53 votes for and 56 votes against.

The Chamber of Deputies is the deciding house.
