Education committee president Mihail Hardau said teachers who commit this disciplinary offence will be punished gradually and an ultimate measure would be to fire the respective person.
Hardau said the amendment was adopted by consensus, adding the measure could also apply to the university education system.
Federation for Free Unions in Education vice-president Simion Hancescu said Thursday that the union agrees with the measure as, in some cases, teachers are not objective when assessing students' activity, to determine them to take private lessons.
