Romanian Unions, Employers To Send PM Proposals For Labor Code
Romania's workers' unions and employers' associations must draft by Friday a joint position on the changes to the Labor Code and the other laws under negotiation, which the prime minister will analyze by January 26 and announce which of their proposals will be taken into account.

A press release, issued after Tuesday's meeting between the Government and the unions and employers, said a new meeting will be held next week to analyze the new proposals.
Earlier, union and employer representatives had called on Prime Minister Emil Boc to dismiss Labor Minister Ioan Botis, dissatisfied with their discussions on the draft Labor Code.
