Romanians who benefit from social aid can get their aid increased 15% if they get a job, according to application norms of a law on guaranteed minimum income, under public debate until January 16.

According to the bill, if the beneficiary of social aid or a family member has a job, the social aid is increased 15%. The increase is applicable only once regardless of the number of family members that get jobs.

Social aid applications are solved within 30 days of submission and registration with local authorities, the bill also states.

The bill is under public debate on the Labor Ministry's website until January 16.
