The spokesman for the local emergency inspectorate in Brasov, Ciprian Sfreja, said the bus driver failed to give the train right of way and was hit.
"Following the impact, the bus broke in two and the train jumped off track. We can say it's a miracle that only six people are injured and no one life is in danger," Sfreja said.
The six people injured, all passengers of the bus, were taken by ambulance to the local county hospital.
The bus belongs to the Brasov local public transport company.
