A press release from the Iasi Students’ League says that Liviu Pop is completely unsuitable for his position, due to his low interest in higher education, abusive dismissal of school inspectors and various controversial measures, such as the unique textbook law.
Students accuse Florian Bodog of failing to solve resident doctors’ problems regarding their meal tickets, payment of on-calls, residency exam and scholarships. Bodog is also facing plagiarism accusations regarding his Ph.D. thesis.
Finally, student representatives consider Alexandru Cuc to be the main culprit for the deadlock Highway A8 Ungheni – Iasi – Targu Mures has encountered and for failing to provide discounted Bucharest metro tickets for students and pupils.
