The flights with workers from Cluj to Germany continue
Charter flights to Germany that bring workers to work in agriculture will continue until 17 May, announces David Ciceo, director of "Avram Iancu" International Airport.

Charter flights from Cluj to Germany started in March. "From March we have charters with workers to Germany, we also had one to Innsbruck, Austria. We will have almost daily until 17 May such flights with workers to Germany, who go to work in agriculture", David Ciceo has declared on Wednesday.
Charter flights to Germany provide airport revenues, but are small compared to those collected in April last year.
"We have a stable financial situation, this is not the case of inability to pay at Cluj Airport. More than 200 employees are in technical unemployment", specified Ciceo.
Cluj Airport has only one regular flight to Malmo (Sweden), twice a week, on Monday and Friday.
Irimie Popa, member of the Board of Directors of Cluj Airport, said, in turn, that measures have been taken in the current situation, including reducing internal costs, adjusting services provided by third parties, terminating contracts and postponing procurement, but also the postponement of rates for bank loans.
