Three-Month Money Market Rate Rises To 3.30%
The three-month money market interest rate used to calculate interests for consumer loans in lei rose to 3.30% a year on Monday, from 3.28% a year on Friday, central bank data show.

The three-month rate last reached this level on August 24, but it peaked this year, at 3.47%, during July 30- August 3.
The six-month money market rate, which is used to calculate interests on leu-denominated mortgage loans, rose to 3.52% on Monday, from 3.50% on Friday. This year, the six-month rate peaked, at 3.53%, on July 30.
The nine-month interbank rate, which is used to calculate interests on loans in lei attracted by commercial banks from other commercial banks for a nine-month period, grew to 3.58% on Monday, from 3.57% on Friday.
The twelve-month index stayed at Friday’s level of 3.62%.
