Of the 18 million Romanian citizens, 1,789,504 are inscribed in the electoral lists of the 1,244 voting sections in Bucharest.
Another 181 voting sections were installed abroad, and nine in military camps for the Romanian soldiers who wish to express their right to vote.
According to the law, voting sections were organized on Romanian ships as well as maritime platforms.
Approximately 9,150,000 Romanian citizens should vote in order for the referendum to be validated.
According to the law, the referendum is valid if half plus one of the citizens who are on the electoral lists take part in it.
In order to set the percentage of people present at the vote, together with the valid votes, the electoral commissions will also take into consideration the votes that were declared null.
People will exercise their right to vote their MEPs by applying the VOTED stamp in the rectangle in which there is the list of candidates they wish to choose.
