The minister said that the foreign language and computer skills examinations will be held in the first part of the second semester of grade 12, during the school year, and that the wrritten examinations will still take place at the end of grade 12.

Pop also said that a special system will scan and encrypt the tests. Teachers will use computers either at home or in special exam centers to mark the tests, while complete security will prevent them from knowing whose test they mark.

The minister said these measures will lower both the costs and the pressure felt by teachers.
