Aircraft Deicing Causes Delays For Bucharest Airport Flights

Representatives of the airport’s company announced that multiple flights were delayed with up to 30 minutes because of operations to deice aircrafts. No flights were cancelled as of Wednesday afternoon.

They added that specialized machinery is constantly used to remove snow and ice from the runways, platforms and passageways.

The Romanian capital is under the effect of a code yellow for snowstorms and strong winds until Wednesday evening, at 20.00 local time.
