One Dead Following Plane Crash In Constanta County

Several SMURD first responder teams arrived near the landing site in Tuzla commune, but could not resuscitate the plane’s copilot, who was pronounced dead several tens of minutes after the crashed.

According to the Romania’s Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU), the forced landing took place around 16.00 local time, and both victims were stuck in the plane following the emergency landing procedure.

The plane’s pilot was transported to the Constanta Emergency County Hospital and is conscious, but suffered head injuries and multiple fractures.

The causes of the crash are currently unknown, but it seems that the pilot attempted a forced landing.
