ECHR President Meets With Romanian General Prosecutor

The meeting was also attended by judge Iulia Motoc, Romania’s representative to the ECHR.

The ECHR official arrived at the headquarters of Romania’s General Prosecutor’s Office (PICCJ) at around 10.00 local time, with the meeting lasting approximately two hours.

PICCJ representatives told MEDIAFAX that the ECHR chief discussed with members of the institution’s Prosecutors’ Section, general prosecutors of appeal courts and PICCJ leadership, in the context of cooperation between the ECHR and Romania’s Public Ministry.
