Incidentul rutier a avut loc în zona Willingale, situată la periferia nordică a Londrei. Un individ a lovit cu un autoturism marca Ford un grup de persoane, majoritatea elevi de la Liceul „Debden Park”.

Un elev în vârstă de 12 ani a murit, iar alte cinci persoane cu vârste cuprinse între 13 şi 53 de ani au fost rănite în incident.

Anchetatorii suspectează că este vorba de un gest deliberat şi îl caută activ presupusul şofer al maşinii, un bărbat în vârstă de 51 de ani.
