Victor Costache announces when the protection materials will arrive in Romania

Acting Health minister Victor Costache has said on Wednesday, during the hearings in the specialized parliamentary committees, that next week 25 tons of disinfectant and hundreds and thousands of gloves and protective suits will arrive in Romania.

Victor Costache said that the deadline for receiving the protection materials is March 11-12.

„We have obtained a financing line for Unifarm and next week we will have – with a deadline of March 11 and 12 – we will have 25 tons of disinfectants, 300.000 pairs of sterile protective gloves, 4.500 new tests, 4 million masks, 300.000 protective suits”, the acting Health minister said.

Costache said that in Romania there is the ability to receive national diagnosis and testing for coronavirus, in centres in Bucharest, Iaşi, Constanţa, Cluj, Timişoara and, starting since Tuesday afternoon, in Craiova.

Victor Costache, proposed as Health minister also in the Florin Cîţu Government, is being heard in the specialized committees of the Parliament.
