The job platform registered over 250,000 searches in March for jobs allowing remote work.
Employees in finance, transport and engineering were actively seeking new jobs, with searches for these sectors amounting to nearly 80,000.
At the same time, applicants were less interested in applying for jobs in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors in March compared with previous months. Searches for jobs in this field dropped 20% in March compared with February.
Also due to the pandemic, interest in sectors such as tourism and the hospitality industry dropped a sharp 25% in march alone, as both industries have been severely affected by the health crisis.
White collar job offerings and applications remained relatively stable.
Of the employers on the platform, Huawei Technologies, Enel and Vodafone had the most applicants in March, nearly 6,000.
Compared with previous months when the most sought after industries were in the retail and finance sectors, applicants’ interest in March turned mainly to telecom, technology, energy and the pharmaceutical industries.
