By Tuesday, October 13, in Romania, 160.461 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) were confirmed.
120.515 patients were declared cured.
Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 3.109 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) were registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.
The counties in which the coefficient of infections cumulated at 14 days, reported per 1.000 inhabitants, is above the threshold of 1,5 are the following:

⮚ Iaşi – 2,7
⮚ Bacău – 2,12
⮚ Neamţ – 2,01
⮚ Teleorman – 1,87
⮚ Sălaj – 1,89
⮚ Sibiu – 1,82
⮚ Caras-Severin – 1,70
⮚ Cluj – 1,80
⮚ Braşov – 1,58
⮚ Timiş – 1,64
⮚ Vaslui – 1,57
⮚ Ilfov – 1,53
⮚ Harghita – 1,50
⮚ Prahova – 1,58
Aside from the newly confirmed cases, following the retesting of patients who were already positive, 770 people were reconfirmed positive.
To date, 5.535 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.
